On Saturday the 1st of April, iheed hosted its inaugural in-person graduation ceremony on the picturesque campus of the University of Warwick.
This memorable occasion was held in Butterworth Hall and was attended by:
The Provost of the University of Warwick, Professor Chris Ennew
The Vice Provost of the University of Warwick, Professor Stuart Croft
The Dean of Medicine, Professor Gavin Perkins
Director of Blended Learning, Professor John Davey
The iheed Senior Leadership and programme support staff
Most importantly, our VIPs: the graduating students
This ceremony marked a significant milestone in the enduring partnership between iheed and the University of Warwick. Given the challenges posed by the global pandemic and the vast geographical dispersion of our students, an on-campus ceremony was not previously feasible. This event felt like a genuine triumph over adversity. A true celebration. It was a coming together of a closely-knit community that had previously only met in a virtual environment.
The first physical meeting of old friends!!!! What a wonderful day.
iheed has fostered a deep and meaningful relationship with the University of Warwick since 2019. Over the years, we have jointly launched six outstanding masters programmes in in Diabetes, Medical Education, Public Health, Healthcare Leadership and Clinical Research . Together, we have had the privilege of educating over 2,000 postgraduate students hailing from an impressive 121 countries. The remarkable 94% learner satisfaction rating on these programs is a testament to the quality of education and support the students receive.
As we look back on this unforgettable day, we are filled with pride for our graduates, gratitude for our partner, the University of Warwick, and excitement for the bright futures that await our students as they continue their professional journeys.
