The Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai recently hosted the RCPI Clinical Fellowship and International Residency Training Graduation Ceremony. The event, held in the United Arab Emirates, was attended by Mr. Anthony Cahill, our Director of Partnerships.
The Royal College was prominently represented throughout the evening. The role of Master of Ceremonies was elegantly undertaken by Professor Cecily Quinn, and the scrolls were presented by the President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Professor Mary Horgan.
A total of 90 clinical fellows and residents from various specialties across the GCC were conferred (45 in attendance) from all specialties from across the GCC including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE.
Her Excellency, Ambassador Alison Milton, took the stage to address the gathering, sharing words of encouragement.
The event also drew senior staff from Enterprise Ireland and regional stakeholders, including representatives from DHA, SEHA, the Saudi Commission, and the Ministry of Health Bahrain.
