We are delighted to announce that Dr Intherjit Kaur Nathu Singh has been awarded a full scholarship for the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) Professional Diploma in Occupational Medicine.
This prestigious scholarship was granted by the International Occupational Medicine Society Collaborative (IOMSC), a leading organisation dedicated to addressing global issues and advancing the field of occupational and environmental medicine.
The IOMSC provides a platform for representatives of more than 50 occupational and environmental medicine societies worldwide to collaborate on pertinent issues, promote evidence-based practices, and advance the specialty. We at iheed are proud to partner with the IOMSC in this scholarship initiative, which recognises and supports outstanding professionals in the field.
Dr Singh, an exemplary recipient of this award, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to occupational medicine.
Dr Intherjit Kaur Nathu Singh has over 15 years of diverse experience in both clinical and administrative roles within the healthcare sector. She is currently the Head of the Occupational Safety and Health Clinic in Presint 18, in the public sector in Malaysia, where she manages a range of occupational health services, including medical consultations, ergonomic risk assessments, and wellness programmes. Previously, she has led the Occupational and Environmental Health Department at the Putrajaya Health Office and managed the TB and Leprosy Department. Dr Singh holds a medical degree from Udayana University in Indonesia and a Master’s in Community Health (Occupational Health) from the National University of Malaysia. Her extensive experience also includes roles in radiology, paediatrics, and quality management in various hospitals, showcasing her comprehensive skills and dedication to improving occupational health standards.
