We are thrilled to announce that the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) has granted iheed and Warwick Medical School (WMS) the prestigious AccreditationPlus status for their suite of medical education programmes. The Academy's feedback highlighted several strengths of the iheed programmes:
High-quality faculty
Strong emphasis on evidence-based practice
Detailed and welcomed curriculum mapping
Clear and rigorous assessment process
Excellent reflective practices through short exercises, journals, and summative assessments
Multiple self-assessment opportunities included in the programme
The feedback concluded that these programmes clearly exceed the standards required for AccreditationPlus.
In collaboration with Warwick University, iheed offers a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, and Master of Science in Medical Education for healthcare professionals. These programmes are highly popular, attracting over 800 participants annually and boasting exceptional Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and an excellent reputation.
Professor John Davey, Director of Blended Learning at Warwick Medical School, commented, "We are delighted with this external affirmation of the calibre of education delivered on the iheed and WMS Medical Education Programmes."
The AccreditationPlus award signifies that individuals who successfully complete our courses will be eligible to apply for full membership of the Academy of Medical Educators through a shortened AoME assessment process. Students enrolled in the iheed AccreditationPlus (ACC+) courses will receive a 12-month free Associate Membership until they complete the course.
Membership of the Academy of Medical Educators and completion of the iheed and Warwick Medical School programmes will allow students to use the MAcadMEd postnominal.
