Dr Martin Hadley-Brown


Dr. Martin Hadley-Brown is a Course Tutor with iheed. He has over 30 years of experience as a GP in Norfolk and has taught at the University of Cambridge for 20 years. His sub-specialty is Diabetes where he has worked both in hospital and community practice as well as being a founder-member and first elected Chair of the Primary Care Diabetes Society (2005-12).

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education and has created material for iheed, the Primary Care Diabetes Society, and the University of Cambridge, where he is Director of Studies for preclinical medicine at Hughes Hall.

Married and now living alongside Southampton Water, HB, as colloquially known, enjoys coastal and offshore yachting. He supposedly stopped full-time clinical practice in 2019 but in reality that has simply allowed more flexibility in the work he does between voyages.
