Dr Adeel Saleem

Dr. Adeel Saleem MBBS, FRCP (EDIN), MRCGP (UK)

Dr Adeel Saleem has over 20 years of clinical experience in UK and UAE. He has a strong background in internal medicine before he became a Family physician. He is currently working as a Consultant in Family Medicine with a specialist interest in Diabetes and an adjunct assistant professor for Family medicine department in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University.

His main clinical responsibilities include chronic disease management as well as supervising medical students and interns. He has published Diabetes related articles in international journals. Dr. Saleem has been tutoring with iheed since 2017. He is a member of the Primary Care Diabetes Society. He is a keen cricketer and played at semi-professional level in a Scottish league, enjoys swimming, traveling, and hiking.
