ICGP GP Training Lead for Paediatrics


Dr Sarah Taaffe LRCPSI, MB, BC, BAO (NUI), MRCPCH, MRCGP

Sarah qualified from RCSI in 2004 and is a practising GP with a special interest in paediatric care. She completed her memberships in Paediatrics in Ireland. With an interest in global health and education, Sarah then worked in many African countries on child health programs, before completing a specialist GP training program in the UK.

Her formal training in education was undertaken via a fellowship in Research, Education and Leadership at the University of Cambridge.

After completing the post of ICGP Paediatric Lead in GP training, Sarah has now been appointed an ICGP Assistant Program Director of the North East GP scheme, where she is actively involved in education.
