Dr Clare O'Connor

Dr Clare O’Connor MB BCh NUI, MD, MRCOG, MRCPI is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin. Clare is an assistant Clinical Professor in UCD. Clare qualified in 2007 from UCD and went on to complete her specialist training in Obstetrics and gynaecology in Dublin, Drogheda, Mullingar and Limerick. Clare has an MD awarded by UCD in 2014 in Fetal growth trajectories following a 2 year clinical ultrasound fellowship in the Coombe Hospital. Clare is subspecialty trained in Maternal and Fetal Medicine and has special Interests in Early Pregnancy,High Risk Pregnancy, Emergency Obstetrics, Labour and Delivery. Clare completed an international RCOG accredited fellowship in Dublin and Birmingham in maternal and Fetal medicine in 2019. Clare is committed to teaching and research and lectures the UCD and RCSI undergraduates in the National maternity hospital.
