Myriel Lopez

She is a Consultant Geriatrician at Benito Menni Hospital, Spain.

She qualified from Universidad Iberoaméricana in the Dominican Republic in 2008 and continued her training in geriatric medicine at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, in Madrid, Spain from 2011-2015.  She completed further training in geriatric medicine at King’s College Hospital in London and in neuropsychology at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona, Spain. She worked for three years as a consultant in the National Reference Centre for Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia in Salamanca, Spain, before moving to Ireland in early 2021. Since then, She has has worked as a Registrar in Rehabilitation and Palliative Care at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin before joining Mater Private Network in 2022.

Her specialist interests include dementia-related behaviours, depression-anxiety, frailty, falls, rehabilitation, and palliative care.
