Eoin Duggan
He is a Clinical Research Fellow in the Discipline of Medical Gerontology, Trinity College Dublin and the Falls & Syncope Unit, St James’s Hospital, Dublin.
He studied Medicine at University College Dublin, graduating with an MB BCh BAO in 2014 and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2017 and commenced Higher Specialist Training in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine in 2018.
His teaching interests have involved acting as tutor in Geriatric Medicine to students at University College Cork, as well as Clinical Medicine tutorials to students at Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. His research interests involve the interaction between sarcopenia and orthostatic hypotension and his previous work has investigated the relationship between vision and gait in relation to falls in older persons.
