Parastoo Khairandish

Dr Parastoo Khairandish, who is board-certified in infectious diseases and tropical medicine and holds an MPH, has worked as a consultant of infectious diseases and faculty member at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and Tehran University of Medical Sciences as well as in private practice in Iran from 2000, before settling in the UK, about 2 years ago. She has a good experience in teaching infectious diseases and tropical medicine to medical students and health-related staff. In addition, she has previously worked as manager and faculty member at a HIV/AIDS Research Centre in Tehran, Iran, which was mostly involved in drug clinical trials. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was greatly involved in the management and treatment of COVID-19 patients. The results of her research activities in infectious diseases have been published in several renowned medical journals.
