Dr Hiren Thanki

Dr Hiren Thanki is a specialist in infectious diseases, who currently serves as an independent multidrug-resistant tuberculosis consultant for the STOP TB Partnership (UNOPS, Geneva). He has taught medical college faculties and medical professionals for newer drugs (Bedaquiline, Delamanid) for TB control. He has 10 years of experience working in infectious diseases. He facilitated STREAM II and Truenaat clinical trials within the public health programme. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Warwick (UK).
