Dr. Hina Mazhar

Dr. Hina Mazhar, an accomplished Consultant Dermatologist, Assistant Professor of Dermatology, and Clinical & Educational Supervisor, boasts 19 years of clinical excellence, including a decade as a Consultant Dermatologist.Graduating from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan in 2004, Dr. Mazhar attained her fellowship degree in Dermatology (FCPS) in 2014, adorned with a gold medal for exceptional achievements.Dr. Mazhar expanded her expertise by obtaining the SCE in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, and diplomate status from the European Board of Dermatology and Venereology (EBDV). Additionally, she earned certification in aesthetics from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM). She also fortified her credentials with the completion of the post-graduate Certification in Health Professionals Education (CHPE), empowering her to deliver education with unparalleled efficacy. She is also a member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom - MRCP(UK).

Dr. Mazhar's passion for education is evident in her extensive experience teaching and training students in Dermatology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including dermatology diploma courses affiliated with the University of South Wales. She also worked in England as an International Dermatology Fellow at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, enriching her clinical experience. Her dedication to advancing medical knowledge is showcased through her involvement in clinical audits, research, and as a distinguished speaker at national and international scientific meetings, with numerous publications to her credit. Dr. Mazhar shares her wealth of knowledge as a tutor at iheed since 2022, nurturing numerous cohorts of dermatology students. Practicing the general and pediatric dermatology, as well as aesthetics, Dr. Mazhar has a keen interest in dermatological surgery. Currently, she serves as a Consultant Dermatologist at a prestigious tertiary care hospital, where she mentors dermatology specialty registrars and medical students alongside managing a thriving private practice.
