Dr Iain Reid

Dr Iain Reid obtained his master's degree in clinical psychology from Rhodes University in 1999. After graduating he worked as co-director of the Rhodes Psychology Clinic, co-ordinating the clinical master’s programme. In December 2022 he took over the post of Principal Clinical Psychologist including the National Maximum-Security unit. Mr. Reid has extensive experience in the field of mental health, particularly in the areas of psychotherapy and neuropsychology. He has lectured at master's level in neuropsychology and has supervised several research theses. He has also published and presented at international conferences in this area. In 2021 he moved into full-time private practice focusing on both psychotherapy and neuropsychology.
