Sonu Goel
Dr Goel is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Himachal Pradesh, India and PhD from Department of Health Services Research, School for Public Health and Prim Care, Fac. Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, Maastricht University, Netherlands. Currently, he is working as Full-Time Professor in School of Public Health, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. The institute has been granted status of ‘National Institute of Eminence’ by Government of India. He is also an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor in the School of Medicine, Faculty of Education & Health Sciences, University of Limerick, Ireland and Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Human & Health Sciences at Swansea University, United Kingdom. He is serving as Founder Director of E-learning course for Public Health, an interactive web-based knowledge, transfer platform offering online courses in Public Health. He is also Director of International Public Health Management Development Program institutionalized under Indian Technical Economic Cooperation, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of Indiain which they have trained over 900 participants from over 90 countries between 2016-2020. He is also Director(s) of national E-Resource Centre for Tobacco Control and Resource Centre for Cardiovascular Health. He is coordinator of few courses of Masters in Public Health (MPH) and program co-ordinator of Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He also teach and supervise PhD, M.D students, MPH, nursing students and faculty, students of Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA).
